One of my slight annoyances with Warhammer Fantasy Roleplay 4th Edition is the fact that information is scattered between various publications. This posts lists where to find all the different information on The Empire by publication. It is main my own use but I thought I’d publish it here in case anyone else should find it useful.
Currently this page is focused on lore, rather than rules mechanics, and I’m limiting it to significant chunks of content about the Empire (not just a little sidebar with some lore, otherwise this could be a gigantic list). I’ll update it as more stuff is released, as well as linking my reviews as I work through these sourcebooks.
Please let me know in the comments if I’ve missed anything obvious!

THIS! Thanks for that! I wanted to do this but now I don’t have to. 🙂
Now where can I read about witch hunters… mmmm….
Strangely, Sigmar, the main religion of the Empire, hasn’t been described yet in this edition?
It does have a weird publication plan, doesn’t it?

It sure does… maybe I’ve missed something though.
Glad you find this helpful!

Basically its following the WoTC marketing strategy of milking the fan base with the publication equivalent of micro-transactions. Where you only get the full product by buying lots of books,

I don’t really think thats fair. You can play WFRP 4e fine with just the corebook.
It looks to me like they are deliberately avoiding reproducing 2nd edition books – which is a challenge, given the broad coverage of that product line.

I’m currently using the Warhammer Fantasy Roleplay 4th Edition – Quick Reference Sheets by Anders H. L. (itch.io) which is a godsend to provide quick access to the rules together with WFRP 4e Additional Rules (google.com) to locate additional lore and rules.

You may want to include the Nordland and Ostland coastlines from ‘Sea of Claws’, along with the Imperial Navy from the same book.
Also, on a smaller scale, the Duchy of Black Rock from ‘Ubersreik Adventures 2’

Ah thank you! I missed out on the material in UA2 since I only own the individual adventures.
I’ll update the article with those bits!

Minor correction – Ubersreik Adventures II covers the Duchy of Black Rock, and the Starter Set covers the Duchy of Ubersreik as well as the city.

Good point! Thank you, I’ll correct that.

Oh – and two more! The Moot is covered in Archives I and also the Laurelorn Forest (admittedly it’s not politically part of the Empire, but geographically it is)
